Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) once again strengthened strategic cooperation with industrial partners through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), Cooperation Agreement (PKS), and Implementation Agreement (IA) with PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. The event took place at Building A of Esa Unggul University Jakarta, Room A811, and was attended by the leaders of both institutions (19/03/2025).

The event was opened with remarks from the Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, who emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities and industry in improving the quality of education and opening up job opportunities for students. “This collaboration is a strategic step in connecting the academic world with industry. We hope that this collaboration can open more opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in the world of work and strengthen their competencies to become future leaders,” said Dr. Arief Kusuma.

Meanwhile, a representative from BRI, Hendra Winata as Regional CEO, RO Jakarta 1 PT BRI (Persero) Tbk. also expressed his appreciation for this collaboration and hoped that it could provide benefits for both parties. “We at BRI really appreciate the opportunity to work with Esa Unggul University. Through this partnership, we want to contribute to the development of young talents, especially in shaping a strong leadership spirit and adaptive to the dynamic world of work,” said Hendra Winata.

Penandatanganan

The signing of the MoU, PKS, and IA was carried out directly by the Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng. and Regional CEO RO Jakarta 1 PT BRI (Persero) Tbk, Hendra Winata. This agreement covers various aspects of cooperation, including support for academic programs, internship opportunities for students, and joint research development in the fields of finance and banking.

After the signing of the agreement, the event continued with the Faculty of Law Collaboration Seminar with the theme “Leadership in Application in the World of Work”. This seminar presented two main speakers, namely Hendra Winata and Dr. Irman Jaya, S.H., M.H., as the Head of the Esa Unggul University Law Study Program. This activity was moderated by Dr. Annisa Fitria, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., who is the Secretary of the Faculty of Law Study Program at Esa Unggul University.

Kegiatan Seminar

In the seminar, the speakers discussed the importance of leadership in the world of work, especially in the banking and legal sectors. Hendra Winata explained how leadership character can shape professionalism and productivity in the world of work, while Dr. Irman Jaya highlighted the legal aspects of leadership and its implementation in a professional environment.

This activity ended with an interactive question and answer session and a group photo as a form of documentation of the cooperation that has been established. With this collaboration, it is hoped that Esa Unggul University and Bank Rakyat Indonesia can continue to synergize in producing graduates who are ready to face the challenges of the world of work with qualified leadership competencies.
