Esaunggul.ac.id – Universitas Esa Unggul once again recorded a brilliant achievement in the field of medical records and health information through the participation of a team of students from the Applied Health Information Management S1 Study Program in the Indonesian Medical Records Olympiad (ORI) UGM 2024. ORI UGM is an annual competition organized by the Department of Health Services and Information at the Vocational School of Gadjah Mada University (UGM). This competition brings together students from various universities in Indonesia who have Medical Records and Health Information and Health Information Management study programs.
This year, the Universitas Esa Unggul team, competing in the Medical Record Brain Competition, won 3rd place after going through a series of rigorous selection stages. Starting with the preliminary stage which was held online on April 28, 2024, the Universitas Esa Unggul team showed outstanding ability in answering various questions and challenges in the field of medical records. This success led the team to advance to the final round held on May 18, 2024 at UGM Vocational School, Yogyakarta.
The Universitas Esa Unggul team successfully showed their toughness and in-depth knowledge in the field of Health Information Management in a very competitive final round. Through hard work, careful strategy, and solid cooperation, this team managed to beat many teams from other universities. In this competition, participants were tested not only in terms of technical knowledge of medical records, but also analytical and problem-solving skills that can be applied in the real world.
The success of the Universitas Esa Unggul team is certainly a source of pride for the university’s academic community. The team that successfully brought home the bronze medal not only showed their academic prowess, but also proved the quality of education at Universitas Esa Unggul in preparing students to face global challenges in the world of health. This success is expected to be a trigger of enthusiasm for other students to continue to excel in fields relevant to their disciplines.
The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, expressed his deep appreciation for the achievements made by the S1 Applied Health Information Management team. “We are very proud of the results achieved by our team at the ORI UGM 2024 event. This proves that our students have quality that is not inferior to other universities in Indonesia. This success does not only reflect their academic abilities, but also their hard work and high fighting spirit in facing the competition,” he said.
He also emphasized that Universitas Esa Unggul is committed to continue supporting students in developing their potential, especially through various competitions at national and international levels. “We will continue to encourage students to participate in various competitions that can hone their skills and knowledge. This achievement will certainly be a motivation for other students to continue to innovate and contribute to the world of education and the professional world,” he added.
