Esaunggul.ac.id, Five lecturers from Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU), namely Ken Martina Kasikoen, Arief Suwandi, Ratnawati Yuni Suryandari, Elsa Martini, and Dicky Gumilang, carried out community service activities (Abdimas) in Balimbing Village, Kanekes Village, Leuwidamar District, Lebak Regency, from December 2024 to February 2025.
Ken Martina Kasikoen, one of the lecturers involved, explained that this community service was carried out in three stages. The first stage was Saba Baduy, which aimed to understand the situation and profile of Balimbing Village.
The second stage involved interviews and discussions with the Jaro Pamarentah of Kanekes Village, Kang Oom, as well as counselling assistance related to the profile of Balimbing Village. In the third stage, assistance was provided in preparing the profile of Balimbing Village.

Since the Baduy community, especially in Balimbing Village, does not recognise writing and reading, it is important for the Kanekes Village Government to update the village profile every year according to the development of village conditions. The update can be done through an annual data collection that involves information from the villagers, who certainly remember the events during the past year.
