Esaunggul.ac.id, Mahasiswa Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) students once again recorded a brilliant achievement by winning the 1st General Champion title at the IPB Karate Cup VIII 2024 event which was held at the IPB Gymnasium, Bogor. In the competition which took place from September 21 to 22, 2024, the UEU karate athletes won a total of 10 gold medals, 7 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals, as well as Best of The Best Male and Female awards.

This achievement shows the strength and commitment of UEU in supporting students to excel in sports. Here are the names of Esa Unggul University athletes who won medals:

  3. Adrian Wicaksono Prabowo (Komputer) – Juara 1 Kumite -55kg Putra
  4. Tegar Dwi Saputra Alimun (Komunikasi) – Juara 1 Kumite -60kg Putra
  5. M Bintang Wicaksana (Kesehatan) – Juara 1 Kumite -75kg Putra
  6. M Ghazy Al Ghifari (Komputer) – Juara 1 Kumite -84kg Putra
  7. M Alief Febrian Firman Atmadipura (Hukum) – Juara 1 Kumite +84kg Putra
  8. Annindya Kinasih Maheswari (Ekonomi) – Juara 1 Kumite -55kg Putri
  9. Adelline Julian Firman Atmadipura (Hukum) – Juara 1 Kumite -68kg Putri
  10. Aprillia Bahrullah (Hukum) – Juara 1 Kumite +68kg Putri

This achievement reflects the dedication, hard work, and extraordinary fighting spirit of the athletes, coaches, and the entire support team. Esa Unggul University will continue to support the development of student talents in the field of sports, so that they can continue to excel in the national and international arena.

This extraordinary achievement brought Universitas Esa Unggul out as the 1st General Champion, ahead of UGM as the 2nd General Champion and Unpad as the 3rd General Champion. This victory further strengthens UEU’s position as one of the universities with the best karate athletes in Indonesia.

Hopefully this achievement can be a motivation for other students to continue to excel both at national and international levels.
