Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) students once again made extraordinary achievements at the XXI National Sports Week (PON) which took place in Aceh and North Sumatra. The UEU athletes won a number of gold medals in various sports, including tennis, roller skating, and table tennis, which further strengthened the name of UEU in the national sports arena.
In Tennis, Siti Nur Arasy, a student from DKI Jakarta, managed to bring home two gold medals. This victory shows Siti’s dominance in the XXI PON event, as well as being a clear proof of her hard work and dedication in practicing. Her achievements also contributed greatly to the name of Esa Unggul University in the national sports stage.
In roller skating, Keysha Nadira Azizah, also from DKI Jakarta, performed brilliantly by winning one gold medal, one silver medal and one bronze medal. Her success shows Keysha’s extraordinary ability to compete with the best athletes from all over Indonesia. She performed with maximum performance and managed to add a collection of medals for the DKI Jakarta contingent as well as Universitas Esa Unggul.
Rina Sintya from the table tennis sport also achieved outstanding achievements. Rina won three gold medals, making her one of the athletes with the most gold medals in PON XXI. Rina’s dominance in this table tennis event emphasizes that Universitas Esa Unggul is not only superior in the academic field, but also able to produce outstanding athletes in various sports.
With a total of 6 gold medals won by Universitas Esa Unggul students in PON XXI through tennis, roller skating, and table tennis, the university continues to strengthen its position as one of the universities committed to supporting the development of sports in Indonesia. This success is expected to be an inspiration for other students to continue to excel and bring the good name of the university in various competitions.
The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, expressed his appreciation to the athletes who have made the university proud at PON XXI. “This success is a manifestation of the fighting spirit and hard work of the students in achieving achievements in the field of sports. We are proud of this achievement and hope that this achievement will continue in the next event,” he said.
This brilliant achievement further strengthens Universitas Esa Unggul as one of the universities that can compete at the national level in the field of sports, as well as being a special pride for the entire academic community.
