Industry Gathering: Collaboration between Higher Education and Industry for Excellent Human Resources in the Era of Industrial Revolution 5.0
Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul Powered by Arizona State University successfully organized an Industry Gathering entitled “Collaboration between Higher Education and Industry to Create Superior Human Resources in the Era of Industrial Revolution 5.0”. The event took place at Kemala Ballroom, Esa Unggul, Kebon Jeruk, and was attended by academics, industry practitioners, and students.
The activity began with remarks from the Chief Executive, Ria Panjaitan, SE, MM, who conveyed the importance of synergy between universities and the industrial world in producing human resources (HR) who are ready to face the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 5.0 era. The speech was then continued by the Chairman of LKKPK, Dr. Ferryal Abadi, SE, M.Si, who underlined that this collaboration is key in developing innovation and applied expertise.

Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni, Ari Pambudi, S.Kom., M.Kom., officially opened the event by emphasizing Esa Unggul University’s commitment to building a learning ecosystem that is integrated with the needs of the world of work. “This collaboration is a concrete manifestation of our efforts to create graduates who are not only academically superior, but also relevant to the demands of today’s industry,” he said.
The event presented competent speakers in their fields, namely Eka Kurniawan (Head of Partnership & Services JobStreet by SEEK) and Muhammad Toha (GM Compliance PT Merdeka Copper Gold). In the seminar session, Eka Kurniawan explained about career opportunities and workforce needs in the digital era, while Muhammad Toha shared insights on compliance challenges and strategies in the mining industry.

Arief Kusuma A.P., ST., MBA., IPU, ASEAN Eng., gave high appreciation for the implementation of the Industry Gathering activity entitled “Collaboration between Higher Education and Industry to Create Superior Human Resources in the Era of the Industrial Revolution 5.0”.
In his statement, Dr. Arief Kusuma said, “This event is a concrete step of Esa Unggul University in strengthening the synergy between education and industry. This collaboration is very important to produce superior human resources who not only have academic competence, but also practical skills that are in accordance with the needs of the modern world of work. The era of Industrial Revolution 5.0 demands a new approach in creating a generation that is innovative, adaptive, and ready to face global complexity.”
The Rector also emphasized that Esa Unggul University Powered by Arizona State University will continue to support strategic programs like this, which focus on student development through internships, training, and direct interaction with industry professionals.
The participants also had the opportunity to interact directly with the speakers through question and answer sessions and interactive discussions. This moment was well utilized by the participants to explore new insights related to industry trends and job opportunities.
The event closed with a group photo session, followed by lunch and socializing, which provided space for participants to expand their professional networks.
