Esaunggul.ac.id, In order to improve the quality of education and strengthen the synergy between the world of education and industry, Esa Unggul University Powered by Arizona State University (UEU) and the Indonesian Indigenous Entrepreneurs Association (HIPPI) have signed a memorandum of understanding which took place at the Tribrata Hotel, Kemayoran Lama, Jakarta. This event is also part of the National Work Meeting (RAKERNAS) 2024 and the commemoration of HUT HIPPI ke-48 (2/12/2024).
Universitas Esa Unggul Powered by Arizona State University represented by the Head of the Cooperation Bureau, Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.Ikom, while the HIPPI was represented by all ranks of Indonesian indigenous entrepreneurs. This cooperation aims to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in apprenticeship programs as well as lecturer and learning exchanges.
In her speech, Dr. Ayu Larasati expressed her hope that this collaboration can be a strategic step in creating synergy between the world of higher education and the business sector. “This collaboration opens up great opportunities for Esa Unggul students and lecturers to dive directly into the industrial world, learn from real experiences, and actively contribute to the progress of Indonesian indigenous entrepreneurs,” she said.
Rector Universitas Esa Unggul Powered by Arizona State University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST., MBA., IPU, ASEAN Eng., also expressed his support for this initiative. “We believe the collaboration with HIPPI will provide significant benefits, especially in supporting student internship programs and lecturer exchanges to improve competencies and expand academic and professional networks,” said the Rector.
The RAKERNAS 2024 event is an important momentum to strengthen the relationship between educational institutions and the business world. Esa Unggul University Powered by Arizona State University hopes that this collaboration can produce innovative programs that support the development of superior and competitive human resources at the national and international levels.
