Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) reaffirmed its position as a leading educational institution by holding the 1st International Conference on Health Sciences (EU-ICHS). This international event was held in a hybrid manner, where some participants attended directly at the Kemala Ballroom of Universitas Esa Unggul, while others followed online through the Zoom platform.
The conference invited a number of prominent speakers who have expertise in the field of health, including Dr. Etik Retno Wiyati, MARS, MH; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kanittha Chamroonsawasdi; Prof. Dr. Hasniza Binti Zaman Huri; Prof. Sophia Huey-Lan Hu, PhD, RN; Dr. Laely Nur Hidayah; and Riza Arief Putranto, PhD, DEA. These speakers explained various important topics related to health innovation, global challenges in medical services, and the latest health technology developments that can support the improvement of the quality of health services.
The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, expressed his hope that this conference would become an event that strengthens international cooperation in the health sector. “EU-ICHS is an important step in improving cross-country collaboration, as well as bringing together experts and academics to share the latest research results that can be a solution to various global health challenges.”

Attending the International Conference on Health Sciences (EU-ICHS), UEU’s Vice Rector for Research, Development, and Innovation, Dr. Rian Adi Pamungkas, S.Kep, MNS, PHN in his speech emphasized the important role of research and innovation in supporting the advancement of global health sciences. “This conference is an important forum for all of us to share knowledge, ideas, and research results that can improve the quality of life of the community. I hope this activity can trigger more research collaborations that benefit the world of health,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Aprilita Rina Yanti Eff, M. Biomed, Apt. expressed her appreciation for the organization of EU-ICHS which involves various parties from within and outside the country. “We are proud to be able to host this international conference, which is a significant step in strengthening the contribution of the Faculty of Health Sciences of Esa Unggul University in the international academic world. Through this event, we are committed to continuing to encourage innovation and collaboration in the field of health sciences for the benefit of the wider community.”
The conference was not only attended by domestic participants, but also international participants from various countries, making it an ideal platform to exchange ideas and the latest research results in the field of health sciences. The discussions covered various important aspects such as medical technology innovation, public health services, and joint efforts in overcoming health problems that arise in the era of globalization.
This activity is also an important momentum for Esa Unggul University in encouraging global academic collaboration and strengthening the university’s role in the development of health science at the international level. EU-ICHS is expected to continue to be an annual event that contributes significantly to improving the quality of the world’s public health through sustainable research and innovation.
