Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) continues to expand cooperation with various parties, this time through an audience visit to the Garut Regency Government. This visit was carried out on Friday, October 18, 2024, with the aim of exploring collaboration in supporting the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program and the implementation of the Tri Dharma of higher education.
The delegation from Universitas Esa Unggul who attended this visit consisted of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Diah Aryani, S.T., M.Kom., Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Wisnu Indrawan, S.Si., M.T., Lecturer of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Prof. Dr. Endang Ruswanti, SE., MM., and Lecturer and Head of the Cooperation Bureau, Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.I.Kom.
The visit was welcomed by the Regional Assistant of Garut Regency and the Garut Regency Cooperation Section. During the meeting, both parties discussed various collaboration opportunities, especially in order to support the MBKM program that is being intensively run by the government and universities. In addition, this cooperation is also expected to strengthen the implementation of the Tri Dharma of higher education, namely education, research, and community service.
“We see great opportunities in working with the Garut Regency Government, especially in terms of the MBKM program. This is one of our concrete steps in supporting experiential education and facilitating our students to go directly to the field,” said Dr. Ayu Larasati, Head of the UEU Cooperation Bureau.
In the future, Universitas Esa Unggul and Garut Regency Government plan to develop strategic programs that can benefit both students and the people of Garut Regency. This collaboration is expected to be a model of synergy between universities and local governments in improving the quality of education and regional development.
