Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul by Arizona State University strengthened synergy with Duri Kepa Village through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Agreement (IA) as well as the implementation of the Community Service (PKM) program carried out by the Faculty of Communication Sciences. This event took place at the Duri Kepa Village office on Thursday, December 12, 2024.
The signing of the PKS and IA was carried out by the Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Erna Febriani, S.Si., M.Si., and the Head of Duri Kepa Village, Arie Lystha, S.STP. This cooperation covers various fields, including the development of internship programs for students, research collaboration, and community service activities that aim to support community empowerment.
Along with the signing, the Faculty of Communication Sciences of Esa Unggul University held a community service activity themed “Optimizing Social Media as a Promotion Tool for Communities and MSMEs”. This activity presented a number of lecturers and experts from Esa Unggul University, including:

- Muh. Ruslan Ramli, Ph.D. (Head of Master of Communication Studies Program)
- Indriati Yulistiani, S.Sos., M.Si. (Coordinator of Broadcasting Science)
- Yumelda Sari, S.Sos., M.Si. (Coordinator of Public Relations Science)
- Dr. Fajarina, S.IP., M.Si. (Coordinator of Marketing Communication Science)
- Dr. Jatayu Hadi Prakoso, M.Ikom. (Head of Study Center)
- Heriyanti, ST., M.Ikom. (Head of Scholarship Section and Lecturer of Communication Science)
In this activity, the speakers gave a presentation on social media optimization strategies as an effective promotional tool to support the development of communities and MSMEs in Duri Kepa Village. The event was also attended by the Head of Village Arie Lystha, S.STP., Secretary of the Head of Village Agustiawan, and members of the Youth Organization of Duri Kepa Village as participants.

Rector Universitas Esa Unggul by Arizona State University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST., MBA., IPU, ASEAN Eng., expressed his support for this strategic cooperation. He gave high appreciation for the establishment of cooperation with Duri Kepa Village through the signing of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Agreement (IA) as well as the implementation of the Community Service program by the Faculty of Communication Sciences.

The Rector also added that this collaboration is in line with Esa Unggul University’s mission to continue expanding the benefits of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the fields of education, research, and community service.
“We hope that this activity can be a model of collaboration that can be replicated in other areas, so that the benefits will be even more widespread. We are ready to support innovative efforts that can make a real contribution to society, especially in this era of digital transformation.”
