Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (signed an Academic Implementation Cooperation Agreement (PKS IA) with SMK Setia Bhakti Cilawu, Garut, in a Community Service event that took place at the SMK. This activity is part of UEU’s commitment in supporting education at the high school level through strategic collaboration with local educational institutions.
The event, which was held on October 18, 2024, was attended by representatives from Garut University (UNIGA) and involved various faculties from both universities. From Universitas Esa Unggul, the Faculty of Communication Science, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Computer Science, and Faculty of Engineering participated, while Garut University was represented by the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering.
With the theme “Digital Literacy: Master Technology and Build Competitiveness in the Digital Age,” this activity was designed to equip SMK Setia Bhakti students with knowledge and skills in digital technology, which is now an important factor in the world of work and education. Not only students, students from Universitas Esa Unggul and Garut University are also expected to gain valuable insights and hands-on experience through interaction and joint activities.
“This cooperation not only benefits the vocational students, but also our students. They can learn how to apply the knowledge they get on campus to real situations, as well as establish a closer relationship with the community,” said a representative from Universitas Esa Unggul at the event.
The signing of this IA PKS is an important step for Universitas Esa Unggul in building cooperation with schools in the Garut area, as well as strengthening the university’s role in contributing to the community through community service activities.
With this activity, it is hoped that students of SMK Setia Bhakti Cilawu Garut can be better prepared to face the challenges of the digital world, while the established cooperation also strengthens the synergy between higher education institutions and secondary schools in creating a better and relevant educational ecosystem in the digital era.
