Esaunggul.ac.id, The Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) together with Masryef Advisory held a signing ceremony of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementing Agreement (IA) on October 2, 2024 in an official ceremony. This event was also followed by a seminar themed “Transforming Islamic Financial Practices for a Dynamic, Modern World” which was attended by various academics, practitioners, and students.
The signing of this PKS and IA is a strategic step for UEU and Masryef Advisory in building synergies in the field of Islamic finance, with the aim of strengthening academic capabilities and improving the practice and application of Islamic finance in a dynamic modern world. Through this collaboration, both institutions hope to develop research, teaching, and community service in the Islamic finance sector.
This signing activity was attended by Dr. Abdul Haeba Ramli, SE, MSM, as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.Ikom as Head of the Cooperation Bureau of Universitas Esa Unggul, Khairil Anuar & Hilmi Hithir as The Principals Of Masryef Advisory.
Dr. Abdul Haeba Ramli, SE, MSM, as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Esa Unggul, in his speech, emphasized the importance of transforming Islamic financial practices in facing global challenges. “This collaboration is an important moment in building the foundation of Islamic finance education and practice that is stronger, relevant, and adaptive to changing times. We believe this collaboration will have a positive impact on the development of Islamic finance in Indonesia,” he said.
On the other hand, Hilmi Hithir as The Principals Of Masryef Advisory said that this collaboration is expected to help drive innovation in the Islamic finance sector, as well as make a significant contribution to the development of a more inclusive and sustainable Islamic economy.
After the signing of the PKS and IA, a seminar entitled “Transforming Islamic Financial Practices for a Dynamic, Modern World” was held by presenting expert speakers in the field of Islamic finance. The seminar discussed the challenges and opportunities of transforming Islamic financial practices in the modern era, as well as the role of universities and financial institutions in encouraging innovation and technology implementation in this sector.
With this collaboration, Universitas Esa Unggul and Masryef Advisory are committed to jointly increasing the capacity of human resources in the field of Islamic finance, while strengthening a dynamic and modern Islamic financial ecosystem.
