Signing of Cooperation by Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul and Head of West Jakarta DGT Regional Office
Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) West Jakarta Regional Office in an effort to strengthen the synergy between the world of education and government agencies. The signing was carried out by the Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, and the Head of the West Jakarta DGT Regional Office, Mr. Farid Bachtiar, M.Tax. The event took place at Building A, room 207-208 Esa Unggul University (13/11/2024).
This cooperation is expected to increase students’ understanding of the taxation system in Indonesia as well as open opportunities for training and direct experience in the field for students. In his speech, Dr. Arief Kusuma revealed the importance of this collaboration as a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. “Universitas Esa Unggul is always committed to establishing collaborations that can enrich student experience, especially in highly relevant fields such as taxation,” he said.
Mr. Farid Bachtiar, M.Tax, said that this collaboration is also an effort by DGT to increase tax literacy and awareness among the younger generation. “Through this collaboration, we hope to create a better understanding of the importance of tax and how it supports the country’s development,” he said.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from both institutions, and received a positive response from the participants who hoped that this collaboration could run successfully and provide benefits for Universitas Esa Unggul students, especially in the field of taxation.
