Jakarta, 25 January 2025 – On the 3rd day, Universitas Esa Unggul participated in the Indonesia International Education & Training Expo (IIETE) 2025 held at the Jakarta Convention Center. The weekend did not become a barrier for prospective students to attend this event to get the latest information about various universities and the best educational institutions at home and abroad. Various prospective students from SMA / SMK and the general public also enlivened the event.
Universitas Esa Unggul’s booth on the 3rd day of this event, presented a broadcasting demo from the Faculty of Communication Sciences. Prospective students who visited the Universitas Esa Unggul booth had the opportunity to participate directly in the demo. They were invited to try to become a professional news anchor by reading the news script that had been prepared. There were students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences who were present acting as operators, helping the demo to become a broadcast through a television installed in the booth. This experience gave an unforgettable impression because it was similar to a real news broadcast.

High enthusiasm radiated from the faces of prospective students who really enjoyed this activity. Those who were lucky to try this opportunity, at the same time showed great interest in various study programs at the Faculty of Communication Sciences, Universitas Esa Unggul. The uniqueness of this activity managed to attract the attention of other visitors. In addition to the broadcasting demo session, Universitas Esa Unggul Lecturers and Campus Ambassadors provided an interactive question session about lectures, study programs, and other facilities. Prospective students were free to ask more in-depth questions. They expressed various kinds of questions that made their desire to join Universitas Esa Unggul even greater.
The Dean of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Erna Febriani, S.Si, M.Si, said “Today, we give a demo of one of the study programs that are the hallmarks of the Faculty of Communication Sciences. This broadcasting demo is something that is learned and practiced at Fikom. We want to provide an opportunity for prospective students who are present here, especially those who are interested in the field of communication, to be able to know and experience directly being a news anchor like on a television station.”
