Jakarta, 25 January 2025 – The Faculty of Creative Industry Design (FDIK) of Universitas Esa Unggul held a TalkShow and Photography Exhibition entitled “SCALE SHOTS” with the theme “Aesthetics of Micro Photography Perspective”. This activity was held at La Mera Kafe, a cafe with an art space atmosphere that supports an atmosphere of creativity, on January 25 to 31, 2025.
The event, which was held as part of the Visual Communication Design Study Program student work examination, was officially opened by the Head of the FDIK Senate, Dr. Muhammad Fauzi, S.Ds., M.Ds. On this occasion, Dr. Fauzi expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm of the students who participated in this event.
Furthermore, remarks were given by the Head of the Visual Communication Design Study Program, Ratih Pertiwi, S.Ikom, M.Ds., who expressed the hope that this activity could be a forum for creativity as well as a learning arena for students in developing talent and knowledge in the field of photography.
This talk show activity presented a number of resource persons who are experts in the fields of photography and visual communication design, including Dr. Indra Gunara Rochyat, S.Sn., MA, M.Ds. (Lecturer at FDIK Esa Unggul), Dr. Ixsora Gupita Cinantya, S.Pd., M.Pd. (Lecturer at FDIK Esa Unggul), and Dr (c) Firdaus Noor, M.I.Kom., M.Sn. (Film and TV Lecturer at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran). The event was moderated by Sri Wahyuni, S.H., MKn, MIH.
The talk show participants were given the opportunity to discuss and ask questions about the world of photography, especially about the techniques and philosophy behind micro photography which became the main theme of this event. The discussion received very high enthusiasm from the students and visitors, who actively asked questions and shared opinions about the development of contemporary photography.

The Universitas Esa Unggul Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, in responding to the activity was very proud of the Faculty of Creative Industry Design of Universitas Esa Unggul which continues to show its commitment in providing a forum for students to work and develop their potential in the field of art and design. This TalkShow and Photography Exhibition activity is one of the clear proofs that the creative world continues to grow and become an unlimited medium of expression. The theme ‘Aesthetics of Micro Photography Perspective’ is very relevant to the development of current photography trends that invite us to pay more attention to beauty from different perspectives. “I hope this activity will not only provide inspiration, but also open opportunities for students to further explore their potential and collaborate with professionals in the creative industry”.
In addition, the photography exhibition that was held also attracted many visitors who came to enjoy the students’ photography works, which carried the concept of micro photography that reveals beauty from perspectives that are rarely noticed. This exhibition is a place for students to show their best work in the field of visual communication design, as well as an important moment in their academic journey.
The SCALE SHOTS event managed to attract the attention of many people, especially students and visitors who have an interest in the world of visual arts and photography. Hopefully, this event can become a platform for students to continue to develop and hone their skills in their fields.
