Esaunggul.ac.id – Universitas Esa Unggul once again showed its contribution in the world of education by filling the EduTALK (Sharing Session) session at the Indonesia International Education Training Expo & Conference (IIETE) 2025 event, which took place at Hall B Jakarta Convention Center. In this session, Universitas Esa Unggul presented a speaker, Maya Fernandya Siahaan, B.Sc., M.Kes., a lecturer from the Nutrition Science Study Program, to discuss one of the biggest global health issues, obesity.
In this sharing session, Maya Fernandya Siahaan presented a topic entitled “Obesity as a Global Challenge in Nutrition”, which included:
The impact and risk of obesity on public health.
Strategies for obesity prevention and control.
The role of academics and universities in preventing and addressing obesity, including through:
- Evidence-based education on healthy eating and active lifestyles.
- Conducting innovative research.
- Strategic partnerships with government, hospitals and non-governmental organizations.
- Educational programs to raise public awareness.
The session received an enthusiastic response from the participants, including academics, health practitioners, and students, who were very interested in the holistic approach to tackling obesity.
Meanwhile, at the IIETE exhibition at Booth A58, Esa Unggul University entered its second day of participation. Thousands of students from various schools in Indonesia attended this event, including visiting the Esa Unggul University booth which was increasingly crowded with visitors. The booth presented various interesting information about study programs, campus facilities, and superior innovations offered by Esa Unggul University.
Esa Unggul also displayed a product demo from Interior Design at the booth, which was presented directly by the Interior Design Study Program Lecturer, Irma Damayantie, S.Ds.M.Ds. This demo shows the creative innovation of Interior Design students in creating functional and aesthetic space concepts, thus attracting the attention of exhibition visitors.
