Universitas Esa Unggul’s student made another achievement at the national level, this time represented by Sere Natalia. She won 1st place in the OSSN 2024 English Olympiad event organized by Puskasnas. The event took place from June 30 to July 2, 2024. The competition, which was attended by participants from all over Indonesia, tested English language skills in various categories, both oral and written. With perseverance and careful preparation, Sere Natalia was able to compete and come out as the winner.
Through the OSSN 2024 English Olympiad, Sere Natalia proved her ability in the field of language, especially English. This is certainly not an easy thing, but for Sere Natalia in developing ourselves we need to try something first. Therefore, Sere Natalia ventured to test her ability in English and won 1st place.
Regarding this remarkable achievement, Sere Natalia expressed her deep sense of happiness and gratitude, “I feel very happy and grateful for this achievement. Thanks to the hard work and training that I have done so far, it has paid off. Thank you to my family, friends, lecturers, and Universitas Esa Unggul who gave me encouragement and full support. Then, thank you to Puskanas as the organizer of the OSSN 2024 English Olympiad.”
Sere also added that the experience of participating in this Olympiad is not only about testing one’s ability in the field of English, but also provides an opportunity to learn new things, broaden horizons, and interact with other participants. This success is a great encouragement for her to continue developing herself in the world of education and English.
Responding to the brilliant achievements of his students, the Rector of Universitas Esa Ungul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng. said, “We are very proud of the achievements made by Sere Natalia. This is clear proof that our students have extraordinary abilities in the field of English. The hope is that this achievement will be continued by other students with proud achievements.”
The OSSN 2024 English Olympiad competition organized by Puskasnas under the auspices of Yayasan Berlian Hati Mulia is one of the prestigious events and is attended by many participants from all over Indonesia. With the existence of competitions like this, it is hoped that it can give birth to a talented young generation and be able to compete further in the international arena.
Sere Natalia’s success is certainly not only a personal pride, Universitas Esa Unggul is also proud of it. Universitas Esa Unggul always fully supports students to excel in various fields. Hopefully this achievement will be the beginning of another greater success journey in the future.
