carried out the PERBAN-PT Automation Workshop No. 11 of 2024 in Building A, room 207, Esa Unggul University. This activity aims to provide a deeper understanding of the enactment of higher education quality monitoring and evaluation instruments in the context of extending accredited status (18/02/2025).
This workshop presented a prominent resource person, Prof. Dr. Slamet Wahyudi, ST, MT, who gave a comprehensive presentation regarding the implementation and benefits of the regulations set by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). In his explanation, Prof. Slamet highlighted the importance of automation in the accreditation evaluation process to improve efficiency and transparency in monitoring the quality of higher education.
This activity was officially opened by the Head of the Quality Assurance Office of Esa Unggul University, Yunata Kandhias Akbar, SE, MM. In his speech, Yunata emphasized that the implementation of PERBAN-PT No. 11 of 2024 is a strategic step in improving the academic quality and governance of higher education institutions.
Vice Rector for Research, Development, and Innovation of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Rian Adi Pamungkas, S.Kep, MNS, PHN, also gave a speech. He emphasized that Esa Unggul University is committed to continue adapting to the latest regulations in the accreditation system to ensure the quality of education that is superior and globally competitive.
The Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, expressed his appreciation for the organization of this workshop. “Automation in monitoring and evaluating the quality of higher education is an important step in improving the accountability and effectiveness of the accreditation system. Esa Unggul University will continue to be committed in ensuring superior education quality through the implementation of the latest policies from BAN-PT,” he said.
In addition to the presentation session, this workshop also provided an opportunity for invited guests to ask questions and discuss directly with the speakers. This interactive discussion allowed participants to gain broader insights and solutions to various challenges in implementing the new policy.
The event ended with a group photo session as a form of documentation as well as a symbol of togetherness in an effort to improve the quality of higher education in Indonesia. Esa Unggul University hopes that activities like this can continue to support better education transformation in the future.
