The Association of Organizing Bodies of Indonesian Private Universities (ABPPTSI) inaugurated its new headquarters at Menara Kuningan, Jl. H.R. Rasuna Said Block X-7 Kav. 5, as well as commemorating ABPPTSI’s 20th Anniversary (11/11/2024).
The activity began with a joint prayer led by Dr. Edy Haryanto, creating an atmosphere of wisdom and gratitude. Followed by a report and welcome from the Chairman of the Inauguration Committee, as well as the Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, ST., MBA., IPU., ASEAN Eng., who expressed his appreciation for the cooperation of all parties in realizing this new office. With gratitude and happiness, today we witness the inauguration of the new headquarters of the BPPTSI Association in Menara Kuningan, an achievement that reflects our shared commitment in advancing private higher education in Indonesia. This inauguration is also a special momentum because it coincides with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of ABPPTSI, a long journey that has made a major contribution to the world of education.

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude to all those who have supported the realization of this new facility, starting from the committee, management, to partners who always make real contributions. Hopefully with this new office, ABPPTSI can further strengthen its role as a unifying forum and driver of innovation in the private higher education environment,” Arief said.

Stefanus Ginting, S.E., as Chairman of the BPPTSI Association Office Procurement Committee, also gave a report on the procurement process of the new facility. Afterward, each division of ABPPTSI gave their progress reports.

The Chairman of ABPPTSI, Prof. Dr. Thomas Suyatno, in his speech expressed his gratitude and pride in inaugurating the Association’s new headquarters, which is a new milestone in the journey of our organization. Coinciding with ABPPTSI’s 20th anniversary, this moment is a reflection of the long journey we have taken together, full of dedication and hard work to advance private higher education in Indonesia.
“This office is not only a place for administrators and members, but also a symbol of our spirit of togetherness and commitment to continue to innovate and provide the best for education. I believe, with this facility, ABPPTSI will be increasingly able to become a strategic partner in facing the challenges of globalization and the era of disruption in the world of education,” he said.
Head of LLDIKTI Region III, Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc.,
This was reinforced by the Head of LLDIKTI Region III, Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin, S.Si., M.Sc., who provided full support for ABPPTSI’s progress. Prof. Dr. Toni Toharudin added that LLDIKTI Region III is ready to provide full support to ABPPTSI in its efforts to continue to innovate and create solutions to challenges in the world of higher education. Hopefully ABPPTSI will be stronger as a strategic partner in creating a superior generation that is able to face future challenges.
The highlight of the event was the symbolic inauguration of the office with a ribbon cutting by Dr. Liestyowati Toelle, followed by tumpeng cutting by Prof. Dr. Thomas Suyatno as a form of gratitude and new spirit.
The event was closed with a group photo session and a meal attended by all invited guests, including ABPPTSI administrators, private university leaders, and LLDIKTI representatives. This moment is a new step in ABPPTSI’s journey to continue contributing to the development of private higher education in Indonesia.
