Esaunggul.ac.id – Universitas Esa Unggul Tangerang Campus successfully held the 29th Seminar Hybrid Akademika Series with the theme “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Student Research Development”. The event was attended by hundreds of participants offline at the UEU Auditorium Tangerang Campus and online through the Zoom application.
AI: Helping or Limiting Students?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a revolutionary technology that offers convenience in solving complex tasks, including academic research. This seminar discusses how AI can be a tool for students to improve research efficiency, as well as the risks if this technology is overused.
Experienced speakers present to share insights
The event presented expert speakers from various fields:
- David Agustriawan, S.Kom., M.Sc., Ph.D. – Research Coordinator of UMN’s Faculty of Engineering and Informatics, who discussed how AI can be used to support multidisciplinary research innovation.
- Dr. Regina Deka Sofia, S.IP, S.M., M.S.M. – Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business at UEU, who discussed the impact of ethics in the use of AI.
- Dr. Ir. Hendy Tannady, S.T., M.T., M.M., MBA, M.A. – Head of the Study Center of the Faculty of Economics and Business of UEU, who explained the strategic benefits of AI in academic research.
The seminar was also opened with welcome speeches from Dr. Drs. Dihin Septyanto, ME (Director of UEU Tangerang Campus) and Dr. Tantri Yanuar Rahmat Syah, SE, MSM (Dean of UEU Faculty of Economics and Business).
Technology Powered By Arizona: Pillars of Interactive Seminar
In this seminar, Powered By Arizona played an important role by presenting analytics-based AI technology to support the course of the event. This technology allowed participants:
- View AI Research Simulations: Live demonstration of AI-based data processing.
- Offline Collaboration: The intelligent meeting assistant feature supports interaction between participants.
- AI Literacy Recommendations: The system provides relevant research references based on participants’ needs.
