Esaunggul.ac.id – Universitas Esa Unggul Base Scouts Jakarta with Gudep numbers 05.283-05.284 successfully held Guest Reception and Ambacana Citizenship activities on January 11-12, 2025. The two-day event was attended by approximately 100 participants from various faculties at Universitas Esa Unggul Jakarta.
The series of activities began with a solemn opening ceremony, followed by the delivery of gradual material from Material 1 to Material 4. In this event, participants were also involved in various interesting activities such as art performance competitions, campfires full of intimacy, gymnastics and healthy walks to maintain fitness, cooking competitions that explore the culinary creativity of participants, to the distribution of prizes for the winners of the competition. Each series of events is designed to strengthen togetherness and instill scouting values.
The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, S.T., M.B.A., IPU, ASEAN Eng. gave his response about this event. In his speech, he said, “Activities like this not only support student character development, but also teach the importance of cooperation, discipline, and creativity. I am proud to see the enthusiasm of Universitas Esa Unggul students who are so great in participating in this activity.”
In addition, Arizona State University (ASU) also provided support in organizing this event through the Powered by Arizona initiative. ASU contributed in providing direction for the development of activity programs, especially those related to the development of soft skills and student leadership. This support is part of the strategic cooperation between Universitas Esa Unggul and ASU in creating a quality learning environment.
The Ambacana Guest and Citizen Reception ended with great enthusiasm and togetherness. The participants not only gained valuable experience, but also built closer connections between members. The spirit of togetherness and scouting values instilled are expected to continue to bring benefits to the lives of students in the future.
