Esaunggul.ac.id, Students of the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program at Esa Unggul University Tangerang successfully held an exhibition and art performance entitled “NAMANYA ALSO GURU VOL III” on January 13-17, 2025. This event was held at three campuses of Esa Unggul University, including Esa Unggul University Tangerang, and was open to students and the general public.
Touching Art Activities and Exhibitions
The “NAMES ALSO GURU VOL III” event at Esa Unggul University Tangerang became the center of attention with various art activities on display. The variety of works displayed included:
- The Dance Show, a creation inspired by the lives of elementary school children, was one of the main attractions. The performance highlights simple moments such as playing in the schoolyard, helping each other in class, to meaningful stories of friendship. With fresh movements, light humor, and a deep message about cooperation, this dance performance successfully entertained and brought the audience nostalgic.
- Poetry Musicalization The audience is presented with a beautiful blend of poetry and music that creates a deep and emotional atmosphere. This poetry musicalization describes various aspects of educational life and the role of teachers.
- Teaching Media and Artwork Exhibition In this exhibition, PGSD students displayed innovative learning media and creative artworks designed to increase the interest and learning ability of elementary school children. The works on display reflect students’ ability to create interesting and effective learning methods.
- Ainur Rosyid, S.Pd.I, M.A.,
The event was officially opened by PGSD lecturer, Ainur Rosyid, S.Pd.I, M.A., who led the ribbon cutting procession to mark the start of the exhibition. In his speech, Ainur Rosyid said, “This activity is a form of creativity of PGSD students at Esa Unggul University in appreciating the world of education and art. Hopefully this event can inspire many parties, especially the younger generation, to love the teaching profession and cultural arts more.”
The Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, said regarding the activities organized by PGSD students, “We are proud of the initiative and creativity of PGSD students of Esa Unggul University in organizing this exhibition and art performance. This activity is not only a place to express art and culture, but also reflects their dedication to the world of education. Hopefully the works displayed are able to inspire and provide benefits to the wider community.”

This exhibition and performance received a warm welcome from the visitors. Not only Esa Unggul University students, but also the general public attended to watch the various artworks presented. This activity became a space for collaboration and appreciation that strengthened the relationship between the world of education and art.
