Universitas Esa Unggul once again hosted a benchmarking activity that aims to share experiences and best practices in the field of quality assurance. On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, the Directorate of Quality Assurance of Pelita Bangsa University visited the Quality Assurance Office of Esa Unggul University. This activity took place in Room 211, Building A, Esa Unggul.
The event began with a warm welcome from the Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul , Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, who conveyed the importance of collaboration between universities in improving the quality of higher education in Indonesia. The speech was continued by the Rector of Pelita Bangsa University, Hamzah Muhammad Mardi Putra, S.K.M., M.M., D.B.A., who appreciated Esa Unggul University as a strategic partner in developing the quality assurance system.
The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul , Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, expressed his appreciation and hope for the benchmarking activities carried out by the Directorate of Quality Assurance of Pelita Bangsa University to Esa Unggul University on December 17, 2024.
He stated, “We are honored by the visit of Universitas Pelita Bangsa in this benchmarking activity. The cooperation and discussions held today show our mutual commitment to continuously improve the quality of quality assurance in our respective institutions. Quality assurance is not only about meeting standards, but also how we create innovations that support better education quality in this global era.”
Dr. Arief also added, “Universitas Esa Unggul is always open to sharing experiences and best practices, because we believe that collaboration between universities is the key to advancing higher education in Indonesia. Hopefully the results of this discussion and cooperation will have a real positive impact, not only for our institutions, but also for students as the next generation of the nation.”
The Rector of Pelita Bangsa University, Hamzah Muhammad Mardi Putra, S.K.M., M.M., D.B.A., on his occasion expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome given by Esa Unggul University during the benchmarking visit of the Quality Assurance Directorate of Pelita Bangsa University to the Quality Assurance Office of Universitas Esa Unggul on December 17, 2024.
He stated, “This visit is a strategic step in strengthening our commitment to improving the quality of education at Universitas Pelita Bangsa. We really appreciate the opportunity to learn from Esa Unggul University, which has proven itself as one of the institutions with a superior and innovative quality assurance system.”
The main agenda of the activity was Focus Group Discussion (FGD) led by Yunata Kandhias Akbar, SE, MM, Head of Quality Assurance Office of Esa Unggul University. This interactive discussion involved teams from both universities to share strategies, innovations, and challenges in implementing quality assurance standards in their respective institutions.
The activity ended with a souvenir handover procession between Esa Unggul University and Pelita Bangsa University, which marked an increasingly close working relationship. The event was closed with a group photo session that symbolized the spirit of collaboration and friendship between the two institutions.
Through this activity, Esa Unggul University continues to be committed to becoming a center of excellence in sharing knowledge and experience, as well as supporting the improvement of the quality of higher education in Indonesia.
