The visitation began at the Kemala Ballroom of Esa Unggul University, Jakarta on Wednesday January 25 to January 27 2023, the 3 study programs visited were Information Systems, Informatics Engineering and Biotechnology. The event was opened directly by the Chancellor of Esa Unggul University from America online Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, ST, MBA, IPU, in his remarks the Chancellor of Esa Unggul University welcomed the visit of the ASIC Team and invited them to visit all the facilities owned by Esa Unggul University, both laboratories, libraries, canteens, classrooms and all existing facilities as well it is also scheduled to meet directly with alumni, outstanding students, the Dean to educators at Esa Unggul University. We hope that the International Accreditation Visit will run smoothly and successfully and also obtain satisfactory results. The event will be followed by introductions to officials at Esa Unggul University.

The AQAS Expert team who came from institutions in Europe

The AQAS visit presented several experts to assess the quality of the study program. The Experts come from various institutions in Europe. The activity was divided into several sessions, namely higher education management sessions, faculty to study program management sessions, graduate user sessions, student and alumni sessions, and study program lecturer sessions. The higher education management session which was attended by all elements of university leadership was held on Wednesday (25/01/2023) then followed by a university management session which was attended by all elements of university leadership, faculties, departments and study programs on Thursday (26/01/2023) until the review on Friday (27/01/2023).

The Experts also provide suggestions for the development of existing study programs at Esa Unggul University. The visitation ended with views or reviews by Experts which were conveyed to elements of the university leadership of the study program to the bureaus within the Esa Unggul university.

On the last day as the closing ceremony, the Head of the Esa Unggul University AQAS Team, Endah Murtiana Sari, ST, MM. express gratitude and appreciate all parties involved in the AQAS visitation, starting from the preparation of documents to the assessment of the Experts. And Esa Unggul University will continue to carry out the developments suggested by the assessor from AQAS. The hope is that by obtaining international accreditation it will not only be for achieving rankings. But it will also have an impact on student acceptance both nationally and internationally and there will be many international collaborations for lecturers.
