Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul students showed their enthusiasm and expertise in the Indonesian language debate competition held in the series of Universitas Nasional Festival (UNAS FEST) 2024. This competition raised the theme “Exploring the Potential of Renewable Energy Through Technological Innovation to Achieve Green Momentum Globally,” and was held by Universitas Nasional to celebrate its 75th Anniversary.
The initial stage of the competition took place on September 6-7, 2024 in a hybrid manner, combining online and offline systems that provided wider opportunities for participants from all over Indonesia. The peak event was then held on September 17-20, 2024 on the National University campus by bringing together the best teams that made it to the final round.
The Universitas Esa Unggul debate team showed thorough preparation and solid mastery of material related to the issue of renewable energy and technological innovation. In a tight debate, they put forward the idea of the importance of supporting environmentally friendly technology to optimally utilize renewable energy, which aims to achieve global targets towards a green economy.
The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng. expressed his appreciation for the achievements of the students who have made the university proud in this prestigious competition. “The involvement of Universitas Esa Unggul students in UNAS FEST 2024 shows our commitment in supporting them to develop global insights related to sustainability and innovation issues. We hope they can continue to bring the good name of the university in various competitions,” he said.
UNAS FEST 2024 successfully became a platform for students from various universities to contribute to discussions and innovative ideas for energy sustainability in the future, in line with global goals in addressing climate change.
