Esaunggul.ac.id, UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is a ranking system that assesses universities based on their green campus and environmental sustainability initiatives. One of the components of this ranking is Trees Rating, Esa Unggul University again achieved 3.5 Tree Rating points as a sustainable campus by UI Greenmetric World University Ranking. Esa Unggul was able to maintain the value as in the previous year at 3.5 trees rating.
The award was directly given by the chairman of UI GreenMetric Prof. Dr. Ir. Riri Fitri Sari M.M., M.Sc, UEU is designated as a higher education institution that meets 6 criteria set by UI GreenMetric World University Ranking in sustainable programs.
Present at the awarding was the Vice Rector for Research, Development and Innovation Dr. Rian Adi Pamungkas, S.Kep, MNS, PHN. Expressing many thanks to UI GreenMetric for the award, Rian hopes that in the future the tree ranking of esa superior university can increase to a higher point. hopefully the input from UI Greenmetric can be implemented even better, said Rian.
To increase tree points in the UI GreenMetric ranking, esa superior university can focus on several key areas related to sustainability and environmental practices.
Mentioned, that the achievement is one of the pride for UEU and UEU managed to get the title of the greenest and most sustainable campus not because of the many trees alone, but success in terms of providing and managing various supporting facilities in accordance with the criteria set by UI GreenMetric.
The ranking aims to encourage universities to overcome environmental problems at the campus level and encourage sustainability.
