
The entire academic community of Esa Unggul
In commemoration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day, Esa Unggul University succeeded in becoming one of the participants in breaking the MURI Record for the category of pouring the most eco enzyme in Indonesian universities. This historic event involved 46 universities from all over Indonesia, with the aim of supporting environmental sustainability.
Ecoenzyme, also known as 3M Magic, is a fermented liquid from a mixture of fruits, vegetables, and sugar that is processed naturally. This fermentation process involves microorganisms such as lactic acid bacteria and yeast.
Esa Unggul University actively participated in this activity by being represented by all academicians, including the Head of Integrated Health Sciences Laboratory, Ns. Abdurrasyid, S.Kep, M.Kep, Sp.Kep.Kom. This activity shows Esa Unggul University’s commitment to the environmentally friendly movement and is part of a collaborative effort to increase public awareness about the importance of protecting the environment.
This MURI record was recorded on August 17, 2024, as part of a series of celebrations for the 79th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia. The pouring of eco enzyme, which is the result of fermentation of organic materials and has various benefits, is expected to symbolize the university’s contribution to environmental preservation.

In his statement, Ns. Abdurrasyid, S.Kep, M.Kep, Sp.Kep.Kom. expressed his appreciation for this achievement. “Esa Unggul University is proud to be part of this record, which is not just an achievement but also a real step in preserving the environment. We hope this activity can inspire more parties to contribute to nature preservation,” he said.
The Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, in his presentation said that the participation of Esa Unggul University in breaking this MURI Record is a concrete manifestation of our commitment to environmental sustainability.
“Together with 46 other universities, we are proud to be able to contribute to this positive movement, which reflects the values we instill in the entire academic community. This achievement is not only a pride, but also a responsibility to continue to innovate and collaborate for a greener future,” he said.
With this achievement, Esa Unggul University is increasingly showing its commitment not only in the academic field, but also in efforts to preserve the environment through various positive and collaborative activities at the national level.
