Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) through the Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Physiotherapy, held an audience to explore cooperation with Gunung Jati Cirebon Regional Hospital (RSD) on Thursday, August 29, 2024. This event aims to strengthen collaboration in the field of internships and Teaching Practitioner programs.
The meeting, which was held offline at RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon, was attended by a number of important representatives from both parties. From RSD Gunung Jati, the Head of Development, Secretary, Physiotherapy Preceptor Coordinator, Physiotherapy Preceptor, and Legal Staff of RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon were present. Meanwhile, Universitas Esa Unggul was represented by the Head of Cooperation Bureau, Vice Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business, Vice Dean of Faculty of Engineering, and Head of Physiotherapy Professional Study Program.
In this audience, the two institutions discussed various opportunities for cooperation that could support the improvement of student competence and enrich real-world learning experiences through an internship program at Gunung Jati Cirebon Hospital. In addition, this collaboration also includes a Teaching Practitioner program that involves lecturers and professional practitioners from the hospital to provide learning and clinical experience to students.
The Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng. said that the cooperation between Universitas Esa Unggul and RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon is a strategic step to enrich the learning experience of our students.
“Through the internship and Teaching Practitioner programs, we hope to provide opportunities for students to be directly involved in professional practices in the real world, while increasing their competence in their respective fields,” said the Rector of Esa Unggul University.
The Head of the Cooperation Bureau of Universitas Esa Unggul expressed his hope that this cooperation could be a good start in developing the academic and practical capacity of students in the fields of economics, engineering, and physiotherapy. Meanwhile, RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon positively welcomed this initiative and expressed readiness to support future programs.
With this collaboration, it is hoped that a strong synergy can be created between Universitas Esa Unggul and RSD Gunung Jati Cirebon in improving the quality of education and making a real contribution to the development of the world of health and economy in Indonesia.
