Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul became the venue for the implementation of an important activity that highlighted the role of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka Curriculum (MBKM) in the Outcome Based Education (OBE) approach, in accordance with Permendikbud 53 of 2023. The event was attended by the Vice Rector for Learning at Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Muhammad Fachruddin Arrozi, SE, Ak., M.Si, who gave a warm welcome (14/02/2024).
One of the highlights of this event was the appearance of Professor Dr. Ir. Syamsul Arifin as the key speaker. Prof. Syamsul Arifin, an expert in the field of higher education, provided in-depth insights on technical guidance in the preparation of OBE documents.

In his presentation, Prof. Syamsul Arifin highlighted the importance of having a comprehensive and relevant OBE document to guide the higher education process. “A good OBE document is the foundation for educational institutions to implement the OBE approach effectively,” he said.

Dr. Muhammad Fachruddin Arrozi, SE, Ak., M.Si also commented, underlining Universitas Esa Unggul commitment in ensuring that their curriculum is in line with OBE standards set by the government. “We are committed to continuously improving the quality of our education through the implementation of OBE, and technical guidance like this is invaluable in helping us achieve that goal,” he said.
Hopefully, with this activity, educational institutions in Indonesia will be increasingly ready to implement OBE effectively, so as to produce qualified graduates who are ready to compete in the global job market.
