Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) and Universitas Pasir Pangaraian (UPP) strengthened their cooperation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on Academic Implementation (IA) for a student exchange program between the Faculties of Computer Science at the two universities. In addition, UEU also received a comparative study visit from the Faculty of Computer Science at Pasir Pangaraian University on the campus of Universitas Esa Unggul, Jakarta (7/11/2024).
In this warm event, Universitas Esa Unggul was represented by Dr. Nina Nurhasanah, SE, MM, as the Head of Learning Administration Bureau, and Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.Si, as the Head of Cooperation Bureau. From Pasir Pangaraian University, Dona, M.Kom, as Head of the Information Systems Study Program, and his staff were present.
This cooperation is a form of commitment of both institutions in supporting the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes the development of education, research, and community service. This agreement is expected to expand opportunities for students and lecturers from both faculties in exchange programs, scientific publications, and joint research.
In her speech, Dr. Ayu Larasati expressed her appreciation for this collaboration and emphasized the importance of collaboration in supporting the vision of education based on quality and relevance to the needs of the industrial world. “We hope that this collaboration will not only provide academic benefits, but also become a bridge in broadening the horizons of students and lecturers in the field of computer science through the exchange of knowledge and experience,” she said.
Dona, M.Kom, from Pasir Pangaraian University also expressed the hope that this cooperation would make a significant contribution to the capacity building of lecturers and students in facing challenges in the field of information technology.
With the signing of this MoU and IA PKS, Universitas Esa Unggul and Pasir Pangaraian University are committed to strengthening collaboration in the fields of student exchange, lecturer exchange, scientific publications, and joint research which are expected to provide long-term benefits for both parties.
