Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Lakidende Unahaa University on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. The signing was carried out by the Rector of Lakidende Unahaa University, Dr. Ir. H. La Karimuna, M.Sc., Agr., and the Head of the Cooperation Bureau of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.Ikom., as the representatives of Universitas Esa Unggul.

Faculty Strategic Cooperation and Public Lecture

In addition to the MoU, this cooperation was strengthened by the signing of an Agenda Implementation Cooperation Agreement (PKS IA) between the Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Engineering from both universities. As part of the agenda, a public lecture titled “Efforts to Prevent Drug Abuse, Juvenile Delinquency, and Criminality in Society” was held.

This public lecture presented a number of speakers from Universitas Esa Unggul, among them:

  • Dr. Ummnanah, S.Sos., M.Si., Head of Community Service Section

Publication and Community Service Collaboration

As a further form of synergy, Universitas Esa Unggul dan Universitas Lakidende Unahaa also committed to conduct joint publication and community service activities in Wakowu Village, Konawe Regency. This activity aims to provide tangible benefits to the local community, especially in raising awareness of the dangers of drugs, juvenile delinquency, and criminality.

The Rector of Lakidende University Unahaa, Dr. Ir. H. La Karimuna, stated that this collaboration will open up great opportunities for both institutions to share resources and knowledge. This is also in line with Esa Unggul University’s efforts to expand contributions in the fields of education, research, and community service globally and locally.
