The physiotherapy major at Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) is available at the D3 and D4 levels. The Physiotherapy Study Program (D3) was first established in 1984, and on 20 September 2021, UKI opened the Physiotherapy applied undergraduate program (D4).
This programme is managed by lecturers with D4, S1, and S2 education, who come from a physiotherapy and sports physiology background. The curriculum applied refers to KKNI, and is supported by facilities such as a fitness centre and physiotherapy clinic.

Airlangga University (UNAIR) in Surabaya also provides physiotherapy study programmes at the D4 (applied undergraduate) and D3 (vocational) levels. For the D4 physiotherapy programme, students will study for 8 semesters with a total of 146 credits.
During the study period, the curriculum includes knowledge about movement function, anatomy, physiology, nervous system, and other related fields. Learning is also carried out outside the classroom, through hands-on practice in hospitals and health institutions.
The aim of the physiotherapy programme at Universitas Airlangga is to produce graduates who are qualified, have good religious morals, and are able to develop physiotherapy science both at the national and international levels.
- Muhammadiyah University of Malang (UMM)
