The Communication and Visual Design students held mural activities about “Sea Life” in one of unused Electric substations on Tidung Island, Kepulauan Seribu. The mural activities carried out by Communication and Visual Design students were series of student and lectures community service held on 7-9 February 2019.

The Chairperson of the Communication and Visual Design Study Program, Ahmad Fuad, S.Sn, M.Ds explained that the purpose of this Community Service was to provide experience for students and to promote nature protection campaign using 3 D mural media by Communication and Visual Design lecturers and students in Tidung Island.

“This mural activity by UEU students was held as part of the Community Service, not only the mural activities but there was also training for designing product packaging for the people on Tidung Island,” Fuad said at Esa Unggul University several days ago.

Fuad hopes that the Community Service activities held by Communication and Visual Design students will be able to provide new experiences for students, so that the skills they have during their study can be useful for the community. “Hopefully this activity will provide awareness to all students that the smallest skill they have when they were students can be useful for the community,” he concluded.
