Esaunggul.ac.id, The S1 Applied Health Information Management (MIK) Study Program at Esa Unggul University (UEU) once again recorded brilliant achievements in the international arena, precisely at the ISMOHIM 2024 event.
At the 3rd International Scientific Meeting on Health Information Management (ISMOHIM) held in Semarang on August 22, 2024, two representatives from UEU won prestigious awards.
Husni Abdul Muchlis, A.Md, S.Tr, M.K.M., lecturer of S1 Applied MIK, won 1st place in the Lecturer Competition in the Learning Video Category, while Fany Rahma Sari, student of S1 Applied MIK, won 3rd place in the Student Competition in the Health Poster Category.
This achievement is proof of UEU’s commitment in supporting and developing the academic and creative potential of its lecturers and students.
Husni Abdul Muchlis, A.Md, S.Tr, M.K.M.: 1st place in the Learning Video Category
Husni Abdul Muchlis, a highly dedicated lecturer in the Bachelor of Applied Health Information Management Program, won 1st place in the Learning Video category at ISMOHIM 2024.
This competition requires lecturers from various universities to make educational videos that are creative, interactive, and able to explain the concept of health information management effectively.
Husni Abdul Muchlis presented an innovative learning video, titled “Optimizing Electronic Medical Record System for Data-Driven Health Services”. In the video, he presents how to implement electronic health record (EHR) with a practical and solutive approach, using the latest technology to improve data management in hospitals.
The video combines interesting visualizations with easy-to-understand explanations, making it one of the learning media that can be easily accessed by students and health workers.
Husni succeeded in showing excellence in creative ways of delivering material, where the learning videos produced were not only informative but also very easy to understand by viewers from various educational backgrounds.
This success is certainly an inspiration for other lecturers in Indonesia to continue to innovate in delivering lectures through digital media which is increasingly needed in the modern era of education.

Fany Rahma Sari: 3rd place in the Student Health Poster Category
In addition to the achievements made by Husni Abdul Muchlis, Fany Rahma Sari, an undergraduate student of Applied Health Information Management at UEU, also made an achievement by winning 3rd place in the Health Poster Category at ISMOHIM 2024.
This poster competition is one of the most competitive categories in ISMOHIM, where students from various universities in Indonesia and abroad compete to present innovative health ideas in visual form.
Fany presented a poster entitled “Innovative Use of Big Data in Public Health Trend Analysis for Disease Prevention”.
The poster highlighted the importance of using Big Data in predicting and analyzing health trends in the community, particularly in the context of communicable and non-communicable disease prevention.
Fany’s poster highlighted how the integration of data from various sources such as health records, health apps, and population surveys can help decision makers in designing more effective and data-driven health policies.
The use of dynamic colors, attractive design, and information presented in a concise yet in-depth manner made Fany’s poster get more attention from the judges.
In addition, the selection of topics that are relevant to current global health challenges, such as pandemics and the increasing prevalence of non-communicable diseases, is one of the main factors that make her poster superior.
