Profession Pledge by graduates

Esaunggul.ac.id, In the midst of cheers and burning enthusiasm, the Faculty of Health Sciences of Esa Unggul University for the 2023/2024 Academic Year held a Professional Oath Taking Event for Graduates of the NERS and Nursing S1 Study Programs. This event was held at Esa Unggul University Jakarta which was located in room 811 on the 8th floor, this year’s Professional Oath was attended by more than 50 participants. The participants who wore kebaya suits and suits began to prepare themselves to take professional oaths accompanied by Rohaniawan. The participants were separated based on their respective religions. This event was a historic moment for students who have completed their education in the NERS and Nursing Study Programs.

Attended by lecturers, families, and colleagues, this Professional Oath event presents a solemn nuance that moves the heart. The students who have completed their education successfully, stood tall with pride, ready to enter the professional world as responsible nurses.

The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Aprilita Rina Yanti Eff, M. Biomed, Apt, in her speech congratulated the graduates. She emphasized the importance of integrity, dedication, and professional ethics in carrying out duties as a nurse. In addition, she also invited the graduates to continue to develop themselves and provide the best service for the community.

Meanwhile, one of the representatives of the graduating students expressed his gratitude for the support and guidance provided during the education period. He also promised to carry out his duties with full responsibility and high dedication.

The event then continued with the procession of the Profession Oath by the graduates, guided by Rohaniawan. With their hands over their hearts, the students promised to carry out their duties in accordance with the code of ethics and standards of the nursing profession.

The event closed with great emotion and pride, where the graduates and invited guests hugged each other and shared congratulations. They left the room with a burning spirit, ready to face challenges and prove their commitment as professional and dedicated nurses.

The next sequence in this activity was the signing of the oath script represented by each religion accompanied by clergy, then continued with pinning to representatives of professional oath participants. The event was then closed with a group photo with a very touched heart with a sense of joy.
