esaunggul.ac.id  – The Faculty of Communication Sciences of Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) successfully held a public lecture entitled “The Evolution and Dynamics of Public Relations in the Digital Age” on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 09.00 – 12.00 WIB, at the Auditorium of Citra Raya Campus Building, Tangerang.

The event presented a prominent speaker, Prof. Rachmat Kriyantono, S.Sos., M.Si., Ph.D., Professor of Public Relations from Universitas Brawijaya. As an expert in Public Relations and Crisis Management with internationally recognized scientific publications, Prof. Rachmat discussed the importance of adapting information technology and social media in modern public relations practices.

In addition to the public lecture, this event became a historic moment with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Communication Studies at UEU and the Department of Communication Studies, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya. This cooperation covers the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely education, research, and community service, in order to improve academic quality and contribute to the development of communication science in Indonesia.

The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, in his speech expressed his deep appreciation for this collaboration.
“This partnership is not just a symbol, but also a real commitment to create a collaborative and innovative academic environment. I believe this collaboration will strengthen the position of UEU and Universitas Brawijaya as superior higher education institutions in Indonesia, while opening opportunities for students to connect globally,” he explained.

Support for the event also came from Arizona State University (ASU), UEU’s international partner. In a message delivered by ASU representatives, they stated, “Cross-university cooperation like this is an important step in building sustainable global education. We strongly support Universitas Esa Unggul efforts in expanding academic networks and creating beneficial exchange opportunities.”

The Dean of UEU’s Faculty of Communication Studies, Dr. Erna Febriani, S.Si., M.Si., emphasized that this collaboration is a strategic step to strengthen academic networks and improve the quality of education in the field of communication science.
“We hope that the synergy with Brawijaya University can have a positive impact on students and lecturers in both institutions,” she said.

The event was attended by more than 100 students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of Esa Unggul University, both offline and online through Zoom, as well as lecturers and faculty leaders from both universities.
