esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul welcomed the new students of the 2024/2025 Informatics Engineering Distance Education Program (PJJ) by holding a hybrid Welcome Student event. This event took place on Saturday, December 7, 2024, in Room 201 Bekasi Campus, Universitas Esa Unggul, and streamed online via Zoom for participants who were unable to attend in person.
The event was opened with a warm welcome from Ms. Diana Fajarwati, S.T., M.S.M., as the Director of Digital Campus. Universitas Esa Unggul. In her speech, Mrs. Diana expressed great hope that the new students can take advantage of this PJJ program to achieve success in the field of Information Technology. “With a flexible learning system and full support from the faculty, I am sure you will all thrive and be ready to face challenges in the digital industry,” said Mrs. Diana.
Then, the event continued with remarks from Dr. Muhammad Fachruddin Arrozi, SE, Ak., M.Si., Vice Rector 1 for Learning Affairs Universitas Esa Unggul, who attended virtually through Zoom. In his speech, Dr. Fachruddin reminded the students that the digital world is evolving rapidly, and through distance learning, they will gain the knowledge and skills needed to compete in the professional world.
Dr. Bambang Irawan, S.Kom., M.Kom., Head of the PJJ Informatics Study Program, gave an explanation of the Informatics Engineering Study Program which is run at Universitas Esa Unggul. Dr. Bambang explained the curriculum, courses, and career opportunities that can be accessed by students after completing their studies in this program.
In the next session, Dr. Nina Nurhasanah, SE, MM, a representative of the Learning Administration Bureau, explained the learning system at the university. Universitas Esa Unggul, including the use of online platforms, lecture schedules, and evaluation mechanisms that will help students navigate the course effectively.
The event was also enlivened by representatives from Cintana, who attended the online meeting. Mr. Ludwig Lie from Cintana conveyed their commitment to continue supporting higher education in Indonesia, especially in the field of information technology, by establishing strategic partnerships with Universitas Esa Unggul.

In the framework of the Welcome Student event of PJJ Informatics 2024/2025, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, S.T., MBA., IPU, ASEAN Eng., Chancellor of Universitas Esa Unggul, also responded to the hybrid event held at the Bekasi Campus.
“In the rapidly growing digital era, we must be able to adapt and utilize technology to support more inclusive and flexible education. This Informatics PJJ program is a manifestation of our commitment to provide extensive learning opportunities to students, without being limited by distance and time,” said Dr. Arief Kusuma Among Praja.
