Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) strengthened its international cooperation by receiving a visit from representatives of Institute Superior Cristal (ISC), one of UEU’s strategic partners in Timor Leste. This visit aimed to discuss the continuation of collaboration in the fields of lecturer recognition, research, and community service (PKM). One of the main focuses of this meeting was the development of the ISC Faculty of Physiotherapy, in which the UEU Faculty of Physiotherapy will act as the main partner (30/09/2024).
The meeting, which took place in Building A, Universitas Esa Unggul, was attended by representatives from ISC, namely Calisto Carbofo, ISC Senior Physiotherapist, and Adao Manuel Da Silva, ISC Nursing Lecturer. Both were warmly welcomed by the entire Esa Unggul community including the Vice Rector for Learning, Dr. Muhammad Fachruddin Arrozi, SE, Ak, M.Si and the Vice Rector for Cooperation and Development, Dr. Rilla Gantino, SE, Ak, MM.
Dr. Muhammad Fachruddin Arroz in his speech expressed his appreciation and hopes regarding the continuation of collaboration with ISC. “We are very enthusiastic to welcome representatives from the Superior Cristal Institute. This collaboration is a form of our commitment to continue to strengthen international relations in academic and research development. The Faculty of Physiotherapy at Universitas Esa Unggul is ready to be a major partner in the establishment of the Faculty of Physiotherapy at ISC and ensure that this program develops in accordance with international standards,” he said.
Calisto Carbofo also expressed his hope for this collaboration, “We really appreciate the support from Universitas Esa Unggul. With this collaboration, we believe we will be able to establish a Faculty of Physiotherapy at ISC which will contribute greatly to the development of the quality of physiotherapy personnel in Timor Leste.”
In addition to the development of the Faculty of Physiotherapy, this meeting also discussed further collaboration in the development of lecturer resources, joint research, and community service. Both institutions agreed to continue to increase cooperation in various fields to provide broad benefits, both for the academic community and the community in both countries.
This visit is an important step in strengthening the relationship between Universitas Esa Unggul and Institute Superior Cristal, as well as showing UEU’s commitment to continue expanding international cooperation networks in various fields, especially in the field of health science.
