officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PT Kelistrikan Indonesia on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Esa Unggul University Campus Jakarta. This signing aims to support the establishment of the Electrical Engineering Study Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Esa Unggul University and provide opportunities for student internship programs at PT Jasa Kelistrikan Indonesia.
The signing ceremony was represented by the Vice Rector IV for Institutional Cooperation of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Rilla Gantino, SE, Ak., MM. Also attending the event were the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Esa Unggul University, Ir. Roesfiansjah Rasjidin, MT, Ph.D., and the Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program Establishment Team, Dr. Ir. Pawenary, M.T., MPM, IPU, ASEAN Eng.
Dr. Rilla Gantino, SE, Ak., MM, said “As an educational institution committed to global innovation and collaboration, Esa Unggul University Powered by Arizona University continues to expand its network of cooperation with industry to provide the best practical experience for students. This collaboration not only supports academic development but also opens up real opportunities for our students in the world of work.”
In addition to the MoU signing, the Faculty of Engineering of Esa Unggul University also signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with PT Jasa Kelistrikan Indonesia. This cooperation will include various activities such as academic support for the establishment of study programs, curriculum development based on industry needs, as well as internship and training programs for Faculty of Engineering students.
The Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng. expressed his support for this strategic cooperation. He emphasized the importance of synergy between the academic world and industry in order to realize the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, which includes education, research, and community service.
“This cooperation is a real step in preparing graduates who are ready to face global challenges, as well as strengthening their competence in the field of electrical engineering which continues to grow along with technological advances,” said Arief.
With this collaboration, Esa Unggul University Powered by Arizona University hopes to make a significant contribution in producing superior human resources in the field of electrical engineering, as well as strengthening the relationship between the world of education and the electricity industry in Indonesia.
