Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) dan Universitas Sulawesi Tenggara (Unsultra) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a strategic step to strengthen collaboration in the field of higher education. The event, which took place in Kendari, was attended by the Rector of Southeast Sulawesi University, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Andi Bahrun, M.Sc. Agric, and the Head of Cooperation Bureau of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.Ikom, who represented the Universitas Esa Unggul( 20/11/ 2024).
Rektor Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST., MBA., IPU, ASEAN Eng., in responding to the collaboration between Universitas Esa Unggul and Southeast Sulawesi University is a strategic step in strengthening the synergy between higher education institutions. “We hope this collaboration can support the development of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, especially in the fields of research, community service, and improving the quality of education,” he said.
In addition to the MoU signing, Esa Unggul University also carried out Academic Implementation Cooperation Agreements (PKS IA) with three faculties in Unsultra, namely Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Engineering, and Faculty of Law. This cooperation includes various programs that support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, including research, community service, and the exchange of lecturers and students carried out both offline and hybrid.
This signing is expected to be the first step of a wider collaboration between Universitas Esa Unggul and Southeast Sulawesi University. In her speech, Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.Ikom., expressed great hope for this collaboration. “We believe that this collaboration will have a positive impact, not only for both universities but also for the wider community through innovative programs in research and community service,” she said.
The Rector of Southeast Sulawesi University, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Andi Bahrun, M.Sc. Agric, also expressed his optimism towards this cooperation. “We are very enthusiastic to cooperate with Esa Unggul University. Through this synergy, we believe we can improve the quality of education and research in both institutions,” he said.
