continues to expand its academic network by establishing strategic cooperation through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Swadaya Gunung Jati University. The MoU signing took place at Universitas Swadaya Gunung Jati on Friday, February 14, 2025.
On this occasion, Esa Unggul University was represented by Vice Rector IV for Institutional Cooperation, Dr. Rilla Gantino, SE, Ak, MM, while Swadaya Gunung Jati University was represented by Vice Rector IV for Cooperation, Public Relations, Publication, Promotion, and International Affairs, Dr. Cita Dwi Rosita, S.Pd., M.Pd. The event was also attended by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law of Esa Unggul University, Rita Alfiana, SE, SH, M.Kn., the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Diah Aryani, ST, M.Kom., and the Head of the Cooperation Bureau of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.Ikom.
As part of this collaboration, the Faculty of Law and Faculty of Economics and Business from both universities also signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Agreement (IA) in the framework of benchmarking. This cooperation covers various fields, including teaching lecturer exchange programs to improve academic quality and strengthen collaboration in the fields of research and community service.
Dr. Rilla Gantino said that this cooperation is a concrete step in strengthening academic networks and supporting the university’s internationalization program. “With this cooperation, we hope to encourage the exchange of knowledge and experience between lecturers and students, so as to create a higher quality educational ecosystem that is relevant to global challenges,” she said.
The Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, regarding the cooperation with Swadaya Gunung Jati University, hoped that this cooperation was a strategic step in strengthening academic and research synergies between the two institutions. “With the exchange of lecturers and benchmarking, we hope to create an innovative and globally competitive educational ecosystem, and provide tangible benefits for students and faculty at both universities,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dr. Cita Dwi Rosita appreciated this cooperation initiative and hoped that it could provide great benefits for both institutions. “The synergy between Esa Unggul University and Swadaya Gunung Jati University is expected to increase academic and research capacity, and open more collaboration opportunities that have a positive impact on students and educators,” she said.
The signing of this MoU is an important milestone in strengthening cooperation between universities in Indonesia, especially in supporting global-based academic programs that are adaptive to the times.
