Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul continues to expand its cooperation network with various higher education institutions. This time, the cooperation was realized through the signing of an Academic Implementation Cooperation Agreement (PKS IA) between the Faculty of Computer Science of Esa Unggul University and the Faculty of Design and Creative Industry of Esa Unggul University with the Faculty of Science, Computer, and Mathematics of Matana University and the Faculty of Design, Occupational Safety, and Architecture of Matana University. The event took place at Matana University, Tangerang, on Wednesday, March 5, 2025.
The signing of PKS IA was represented by the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Esa Unggul University, Diah Aryani, ST, M.Kom, and Plt. Dean of the Faculty of Science, Computer, and Mathematics of Matana University, Prya Artha Widjaya, S.T., M.I.T. Meanwhile, the signing of the second PKS IA was carried out by the Head of Visual Communication Design (DKV) of the Faculty of Design and Creative Industries of Esa Unggul University, Ixsora Gupita Cinantya, M.Pd. ACA, with the Dean of the Faculty of Design, Safety, and Architecture of Matana University, Dr. Ir. Danang Harito Wibowo, M.T., IAI.
Also attending the event from Esa Unggul University were the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Diah Aryani, ST, M.Kom; Head of the Bureau of University Course Implementation and MBKM, Dr. Abdurrahman, SKM, MM; Head of the Cooperation Bureau, Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.Ikom; Head of the Library Bureau, Astrid Chrisafi, SS, M.Hum; and Head of DKV Department of the Faculty of Design and Creative Industries, Ixsora Gupita Cinantya, M.Pd. ACA. The visit of the Esa Unggul University delegation was warmly welcomed by the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science, Computer, and Mathematics; Dean of the Faculty of Design, Safety, and Architecture; Head of the Statistics Study Program; and Head of the DKV Study Program at Matana University.
In addition to the signing of the IA PKS, Esa Unggul University also conducted benchmarking with Matana University with the theme “Utilization of Statistics Corner.” This session presented presenters from the Tangerang Regency Central Statistics Agency, Reza Septiadi Perdana, S.S.T., C.QM., C.IP., C.TM., C.PS., C.HS., C.HCBP., C.IPS., C.LS., C.ODP., C.HRMP., C.PPS., C.PHCM., C.PFM., C.PMM. This activity aims to improve data literacy and the utilization of statistics in the academic world and the creative industry.
Rektor Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST., MBA., IPU, ASEAN Eng., expressed his support for this collaboration as part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. “This collaboration is a strategic step to improve academic quality and strengthen relationships between universities. With this collaboration, we hope to create innovations and solutions that are relevant to the needs of industry and society,” said Dr. Arief Kusuma.
It is hoped that this collaboration can strengthen the synergy between the two universities in academic development, research, and innovation in the fields of science, technology, design, and creative industries.
