Hand washing with soap is one of the sanitary measures by cleaning hands and fingers using water and soap.Indonesia in 2013 as many as 49% of the population aged 10 years and over who washed their hands properly so there are still around 51% of the people who have not washed their hands properly. This study was to identify the effect of health education using audio visual media on the level of hand washing compliance in preschool children.This study was design a pre xperimental with one group pre-test-posttest study design.Sampling with purposive sampling as many as 52 respondents. The results of this studies was there is a statisticallysignificant effect of health education using audio visual media on the level of hand washing compliance with p = 0.000.The recommendation to using media audiovisual to increase children compliance.
