The Legal Consultation and Assistance Institute (LKBH) of Esa Unggul University once again showed its commitment in supporting the advancement of law in Indonesia by holding a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) themed “Law Enforcement Synergy in the Challenges and Dynamics of Corruption Eradication in Indonesia: Perspective of Legal Political Development.”

This activity took place on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Esa Unggul University. This FGD is a strategic forum for academics, legal practitioners, and representatives of government institutions to discuss corruption eradication issues in depth.

The discussion successfully explored the major challenges in law enforcement related to corruption eradication in Indonesia, including structural constraints and legal political dynamics that often become obstacles. In addition, the participants explored solutions to build a more transparent and accountable legal system.

To enrich the discussion, LKBH Esa Unggul University presented competent resource persons in their fields, namely: Dr. Irman Jaya, S.H., M.H., Dr. Idris Wasahua, S.Ag., M.H., and Patrik G. Neonbeni, S.H., M.H. The discussion was moderated by Sachril Hidayat, S.H., who ensured the discussion remained focused and productive.

This FGD is a collaborative event for various parties to share views, experiences, and strategies in creating better law enforcement synergy. This event also emphasized the role of LKBH Esa Unggul University as a productive dialog space for a fairer legal future.

Arief Kusuma A.P., ST., MBA., IPU., ASEAN Eng., Rector of Esa Unggul University, gave his appreciation for the organization of the FGD by LKBH Esa Unggul University that this discussion is a concrete manifestation of Esa Unggul University’s commitment in supporting the eradication of corruption through an academic and collaborative approach. The theme ‘Law Enforcement Synergy in the Challenges and Dynamics of Corruption Eradication in Indonesia: Perspective of Legal Political Development’ is very relevant in the context of the challenges we face today.

“We hope that through forums like this, a synergy will be created between academics, practitioners, and government institutions to jointly build a legal system that is more transparent, fair, and has integrity, for the progress of the nation,” he said.
