Esaunggul.ac.id – Universitas Esa Unggul and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) announced several forms of cooperation aimed at improving the quality of education and services to the community on Thursday, February 20, 2025. This cooperation includes various initiatives, such as the establishment of Hajj savings accounts, internship programs for students, and resource person exchanges that benefit both parties. The inauguration of the cooperation was held in conference room 207 of Universitas Esa Unggul.
The event was attended by the Chairman of Kemala Bangsa Education Foundation, Dr. Suryanti T. Arief, S.H., MBA, M.Kn, who expressed her appreciation for the collaboration between Universitas Esa Unggul and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). Also present was the Managing Director of Kemala Bangsa Education Foundation, Arya Ikhsan Arief, S.E., M.Sc., who opened the event with a warm welcome to all invited guests.

Then, in order to strengthen the relationship and collaboration, Bank Syariah Indonesia handed over a Toyota Hiace operational car to Universitas Esa Unggul. The car is expected to support various operational activities, both in terms of mobility and development related to the implementation of academic and non-academic programs. This operational vehicle can be utilized by the entire Universitas Esa Unggul community.
Furthermore, Area Manager Jakarta Kebon Jeruk PT Bank Syariah Indonesia, Ike Risnawati, also delivered her presentation on the potential for further cooperation between education and Islamic financial institutions. This aims to create stronger synergies in order to advance education and the sharia economy in Indonesia. Where currently the development in the world of education is followed by the growth of the Islamic economy.
As part of the series of events, Ustad Achmad Syaifudin presented a cultum with the theme “The Power of Hajj”. This theme is very relevant to the focus of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) which prioritizes Islamic banking services, including Hajj savings which is one of the bank’s flagship products. This Hajj savings account is a special savings account prepared by customers to perform the Hajj pilgrimage. Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) specifically facilitates it by offering the product.
The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, expressed his gratitude for the implementation of a very beneficial collaboration between Universitas Esa Unggul and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). According to him, “This collaboration is a strategic step to strengthen the relationship between the world of education and the Islamic banking sector, which will not only provide direct benefits to students, but also to the wider community.”
