The problem of waste is a problem that is still the main focus that need our attention. There are still a lot of garbage strewn which will cause various negative effects both for humans and other living things.Education on waste management It is therefore the duty of every College as defined in the threeresponsibilities of Higher Education is education, Research and Community Service. One of them isorganizing a community service to students of State Elementary School 11 Duri Kepa Kebon Jeruk. The purpose of community service is expected to students can determine the types of garbage and carrying outwaste management by sorting out garbage to be disposed of in accordance with the type and place, and inorder to get used as early as possible to do the behavior of clean and healthy by removing trash in its place , Implementation of community service using the method in the form of counseling , followed by aquestion and answer and simulation / demonstration with direct practice and games . The results of these activities is the students are very enthusiastic in participating in a whole series of activities that havebeen implemented and find out how the types of garbage and how its management to dispose of waste inaccordance with its container. The conclusion of these activities is to increase knowledge for counselingon study participants garbage, trash types namely organic and inorganic sources of waste, litter impact both the environment and health, as well as the importance of waste disposal in accordance with its type.
