Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul has made another proud achievement at the national level. Melda Angelia Putri, a student of the D-III Medical Records and Health Information Study Program class of 2022, won 1st place in the Women’s Javelin Throwing branch in the 2025 Student Sports Branch Invitation Championship, which was held on June 10-12, 2025 at PPOP Ragunan Field, South Jakarta.

The prestigious championship organized by the Department of Youth and Sports (Dispora) was attended by students from 29 universities throughout Indonesia, including six universities that fielded athletes in athletics. In a tight competition, Melda performed with her best performance and managed to outperform athletes from other well-known universities.

This achievement not only shows Melda’s talent and hard work, but also reflects Esa Unggul University’s commitment in supporting the development of student achievements in academic and non-academic fields.

The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng., expressed his pride and appreciation for Melda’s outstanding achievement.
