Esaunggul.ac.id, Esa Unggul University (UEU) once again showed its commitment in expanding its global network by receiving a delegation visit from Nanjing Xiaozhuang University (NJXZU), China, on Friday, May 16, 2025. The visit marked a new chapter in the cooperative relationship that has existed between the two institutions over the past few years.

The NJXZU delegation was led by Prof. Zhang Zhihua, President of NJXZU, along with a number of senior officials representing key strategic areas at the university. Their arrival was warmly welcomed by the Rector of Esa Unggul University, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma Among Praja, ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng. and the university leadership.

In his speech, Dr. Arief said that this visit was an important step in strengthening academic collaboration across countries.
“We believe that international cooperation is key in delivering higher education that is innovative and relevant to global needs. This visit strengthens our commitment to continue to open spaces for meaningful collaboration,” he said.

The main agenda of the visit included a Courtesy Meeting and Collaboration Discussion, which discussed the potential development of joint programs in the academic and research fields, including faculty and student exchanges, collaborative scientific publications, and international curriculum development.

The two sides also held a plaque and souvenir exchange ceremony as a symbol of friendship and commitment to ongoing collaboration. This moment reflects the strong intention of UEU and NJXZU to deepen their mutually beneficial partnership relationship.

Prof. Zhang Zhihua expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome given by Esa Unggul University.
“We are very impressed with the collaborative spirit of Esa Unggul University. We believe that the cooperation between NJXZU and UEU will not only provide great benefits for our students and lecturers, but will also contribute to building bridges of friendship between China and Indonesia in the field of higher education,” he said.

With this visit, Esa Unggul University reaffirmed its role as a higher education institution that is open, progressive, and active in establishing global synergies. Through international partnerships like this, UEU continues to strive to create new opportunities for the academic community to develop in the world arena.
