Esaunggul.ac.id, Universitas Esa Unggul (UEU) held an audience with the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / National Land Agency (ATR / BPN) of the Republic of Indonesia in order to explore the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) cooperation. The meeting, which was held at the Office of the Ministry of ATR / BPN, aims to strengthen the collaboration that has been established, especially in supporting educational programs and human resource development (12/09/2024).

The Universitas Esa Unggul delegation was led by Dr. Ayu Larasati, S.Sos., M.IKom., as Head of the Cooperation Bureau, accompanied by Ghefra Rizkan Gaffara, S.T., M.Sc., Head of the Faculty of Engineering Study Center, Surya Kurniawan, S.T., M.Sc., Head of the Surveying and Mapping Study Program, and Aphrodita Puspateja, S.T., M.URP., Head of the Urban and Regional Planning Study Program. From the Ministry of ATR RI, the audience was attended by Wahyu Saru Sabekti, S.T., M.Sc., Head of Cooperation Section, and Axel Floria, S.T., General Administration Assistant.

This MoU renewal is expected to strengthen Regular 2 programs in two study programs of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Esa Unggul, namely the S1 Regional and City Planning Study Program and the D3 Surveying and Mapping Study Program. This collaboration aims to expand opportunities for cooperation in the fields of education, training, and applicable research, which can benefit students, lecturers, and the wider community.

The Rector of Universitas Esa Unggul, Dr. Ir. Arief Kusuma A.P., ST, MBA, IPU, ASEAN Eng, regarding the exploration of the renewal of MoU cooperation with the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial Planning (ATR/BPN), the renewal of cooperation with the Ministry of ATR/BPN is a strategic step for Universitas Esa Unggul in strengthening its academic role and real contribution in the field of regional planning, surveying, and mapping. Through this collaboration, we hope to provide applicable learning experiences for students, expand networks, and support the development of human resources who are ready to face challenges in the field of land and national spatial planning. “This collaboration not only enriches the quality of education, but also plays an important role in sustainable development in Indonesia,” he said.

This cooperation is expected to further strengthen the role of Universitas Esa Unggul and the Ministry of ATR/BPN in supporting national development, especially in terms of surveying, mapping, and sustainable spatial planning. The program carried out through this MoU is also expected to produce professionals who are competent and ready to face challenges in the field of land and spatial planning.
