Safety education is education about safety in order to prevent, avoid or overcome the risk of injury and accidents. Safety education activities are part of a community service done to the students of SDN 11 Pagi Duri Kepa, West Jakarta, especially students at grade III and IV. The community service is part of Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi.
This activity aims to enhance students knowledge about safety in schools, particularly regarding safety signs. Pangabdian masyarakat is an implementation method of this community in the form of education followed by questions and answers and roleplay.
The results of this activity is the student of SDN 11 Pagi thorn Kepa has been able to identify potential hazards and safety risks and to know the signs of salvation which can be applied in schools, along with the meaning of each of these signs.
The conclusion of this activity is an increase in students knowledge on safety signs at the school. Expected with the increasing knowledge of the signs of salvation, the awareness of students to behave safely increased.
